With a closed beta drawing near, it remains to be seen if Diablo IV will be able to retain a positive impression until its release in 2023.As both reports suggest, Diablo 4 is going to get released in April 2023 and early access to the open beta of the game is going to be available from February 2023 for the players who preorder the game in December 2022. And while the developers surely would have like to present the game in a more controlled manner, similar to reveal of Diablo 4's Necromancer class, initial impressions of the gameplay presented by the leaked footage have been leaning towards positivity, which is a good sign for the game's official release. While Activision-Blizzard will assuredly be investigating the source of the leak, and will likely do its best to prevent any future leaks, the footage could potentially drive interest in the game by giving fans their first major look at Diablo 4's gameplay. In addition to the recently announced closed beta for the game, fans will be getting a much better idea of how Diablo 4 will look when it releases in 2023. However, in contrast to the previous leak, which showed only snippets of menus and character creation, the more recent footage shows over 40 minutes of actual gameplay, including exploration and combat, offering a much closer look how Diablo 4 will play. Surprisingly, this isn't the first time that footage of the game has leaked, as footage of Diablo 4's Alpha Test has previously also been exposed.
